Hello, fellow Team Unite members...I'm Karen Gerstenberger, Katie G's mom (Team Katie G.). I would like to share a link with you to a site for which I write once a month. It's called Hopeful Parents (http://www.hopefulparents.org), and it's for parents of children with special needs. They asked me to write for them, so I write about grief, or living with a child who has cancer, or whatever comes up. Cancer is - for sure - a special need, and so is grief! I hope that visiting the site, looking around, and perhaps starting a discussion there might be a source of support and blessing to members of both Team Unite and Hopeful Parents.
